Drone sprays are highly variable. Without knowing swath, you have no idea what your real application rate is. Evaluating the actual spray is the only reliable way to understand the swath for a given use case ​(each spray's unique setup, environmental and canopy variables). Swath Gobbler™ helps you understand exactly how changes in use case affect your spray swath.

The Swath Gobbler system is easy to use and consists of three things: 1) the swath data collection, 2) the Swath Gobbler™ spray data acquisition device, and 3) the post processing software. 

There are two versions of the processing software. Swath Gobbler Pro™ is the currently available version.


​Swath Gobbler™ Performance Specifications
  • Scans at 3.5 feet/minute
  • 1200 DPI images
  • 25 micron minimum pixel for stain recognition as small as 50 microns
  • Windows, Mac, and Linux versions of software available
  • Requires USB connection to computer and 12V power supply for operation.
  • FD&C blue dye preferred but other colors may be used. 
  • Must use 3" (76 mm) bond paper rolls, commonly available.  
  • Scans and measures complete swath in 35.5 mm segments, data is assigned a position and cannot be mis-ordered. 
Base Swath Gobbler includes:
  • One Swath Gobbler™ scanner
  • "Pro" Software (internet download capability, and admin rights required for installation)
  • USB hub
  • 110VAC to 12VCD adapter 
  • Rugged watertight carrying case
  • Lens cleaning pen
  • 1 liter of concentrate FD&C Blue #1
  • 4 rolls of 3" x 150' bond paper
  • 12VDC cigarette lighter plug to operate from vehicle power
